Teaching my Secrets
I've been using Autodesk Revit for the last 5 years now, and I'm able to use this one piece of software for all my floor plans, elevations, sections and the 'pretty' 3D models / renders you see all across my page...without the help of any additional software. Sure, you can get really good renders with other pieces of software but for the sake of efficiency (we get through so many projects in a year) that we need to find the right balance between the end result and time invested. This is also really important to your clients who can't always visualise things in 2D like we can as designers.
Revit Masterclass: External Rendering
In this first masterclass, we'll be starting from scratch, no fancy templates, and in the space of less than 2 hours I'll show you the most efficient way to get a decent render - I'll be revealing the best settings (that no-one ever taught me or I could find out on the Internet) and how to do materiality in the best way. We won't be using any external software, this is purely Revit...yep, that's actually possible.
Is it suitable for you?
Before you commit to anything, do watch the trailer below to see exactly what's being taught and the manner in which it's being taught - does it work for you and your own workflow?
Whether you're new to Revit or have been using it for years, we start from scratch right down to the most important keyboard shortcuts I use to save valuable seconds when drafting in 3D (trust me, it all adds up) to exact sun settings for those realistic renders you see across our page.
